Hello to everyone!
We are 3 players from Barcelona, veterans on German Larps (8 years on the First Lance of the Red Camp on Drachenfest and 3 years on Epic Empires, 1 in the city and 2 on the Norelag). This year we proposed our self to do a level up and join the Ork Lag at Epic Empires.
Our type of orks are Based on LOTR but with a tribal style. We come from different places of the world.
Our objective this year, besides fighting for the Ork Larg, to participate and win again the Cooking contest (this would be the 4th in a row), but this year with Ork-style food. Also we will bring goods to trade with.

Hey Fellas,

welcome to the muddy side of LARP.
I would like to give you a few information about us LOTR-orcs.

We are a community of seven groups with a harmonized background called "Grat u Murdur". This means: Every group is using the background and is about to fill this with life and detail. We have set races, religion, politics, military, ranks, etc wich have been worked out and written down by players of our groups. You could say, there is a whole culture been developed.
If you would like to use this background and play at our side inside this background, we would like you to first introduce yourselfs, your idea of playing the LOTR-background and your characters.
This gives us the opportunity to guide you through sticks and stones of our background. There are set boundaries inside this background but these give us a nice background where all of us are playing on a comitted set and without contradictions between single groups.
Also you will get the opportunity to get suggestions regarding your clothing and armour.

If you just start playing your characters as you wish to, you might run into tremendous differences and maybe against a wall. Some might say us Grat-urucs are crazy, maybe we are, but we all are crazy playing at 30°C with clothes all around and a mask on top.
