We have a lot of IT tents and camp equipment but are not sure if there is space in the orc camp for more tents etc

Lets start with how many people you are, how many stuff you´d like to bring and then we´ll see...

Currently between 8 and 10 orcs with 2-3 IT bell tents

anyway : supposingly there´s no space for the tents in the quarry...which doesn´t mean that there´s no space for you. we have groups that reside in ohl-structures...we do have some space for people without tents, singleplayer, newbies etc...

8-10 is not a small group though...but we´ll find an appropriate solution...we always do

haha yeh we have a huge array of IT tents, currently total is 6 canvas tents plus awnings etc.

But we realise that the quarry is limited on space.

yah...lets have a look...speaking of awnings etc...that´s stuff that can always be used an added to buildings etc. with ~140 people the quarry is near its capacity limit. more people will require more space. which means that we MAY think about more buildings...BUT...the last two years had been a little bit exhausting.in fact there´s a chance that people will crucify me if i order more than a carload of wood. and that car shouldnt be bigger than a smart.... (i´m a little bit in fear that people may get angry if i use a matchstick ...).

for all the ohl-ppl getting nervous now :

We do have several awnings that can be used as well in a manner you describe.

Some of the orcs are at an event next weekend and will take some pics of the tents and awning set up to give you a better idea of size and set dressing

what are the rules for bows at EE?

[Sget]

There are no official rules for this. Like with many other things on EE:
You're old enough and responsible for the eqipment you use. Thats the genereal rule there

However if you use a bow that is clearly to strong for LARP or arrows that are not safe and you hurt/injure s.o. you risk problems with the EE-Team and the injured person. Usually in Germany the limit is 30 lbs but it depends on the event. Most limits I've seen so far are between 25 and 35 lbs.
Arrrows are mostly coming from Larp-Shops.

i.e.
I've seen s.o. shooting on DF with a kind of longbow and real arrows were the head was replaced by a ruber ball having the size of a table tennis ball.

Defenetly not cool or safe or whatever. We (EE-Team) see s.o. doing s.th. similar he gets at least a reprimand.
